In 1999 I performed in the jubilee performance of Dutch puppeteer Feike Boschma. We aimed to let a puppeteer and a puppet dance a duet but failed to make it work the way we imagined it.

I was not convinced it wasn't possible but thought we needed a real dancer so I asked choreographer Krisztina de Châtel if she was interested in collaborating in some experiments.

The results turned out so well we decided to make a proper dance performance. It became the first 'solo' performance of young dancer Keyna Nara and brought her a nomination for a golden Swan.
