Theatra wanted a stage design that could be set up easily as there was very limited time to build up and no technician joining the tour along primary schools. It needed to fit in a small van and had to fill as much background of a classroom as possible.

The couple always has the same, never changing, routine so I made their wall, curtains and even the bow tie of the husband in the same pattern.

The neighbour on the other hand is an explosion of colours and 'things'. She steps into the couple's world and the everyday life starts to change dramatically.
